You can print product or customer labels spool-style, or on label sheets. Barcodes on labels usually include the product's UPC, but you can use the product ID as a barcode. Product labels can include tax-inclusive selling prices or pricing level prices.
Generating barcoded product labels from OnSite give you a lot of advantages:
- Having barcoded product labels speeds up your sales at the POS with a barcode scanner.
- When you have items that don’t come labeled with a manufacturer’s UPC, generate product labels from OnSite.
- Add a label that displays your store’s pricing information, including Sale Event pricing.
- Labeling all your stock greatly speeds up doing inventory lookups and inventory counts.
Specialized hardware is also available to allow barcode scanning when using Lightspeed OnSite for Mobile and Lightspeed OnSite for iPad.
Compatible label sizes
OnSite can print customer and product labels on a variety of popular label sizes on DYMO LabelWriters or 8.5” x 11” label sheets. These are the sizes OnSite supports for printing customer and product labels.
